LAM Naturalization Ceremony
The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Naturalization Ceremony will take place during Vienna’s fourth annual Liberty Amendments Month. The event will start at 3:30 p.m. with live music and entertainment. The Naturalization ceremony starts at 5 p.m.
15 candidates for naturalization, representing different countries of origin from all over the world, will take the Oath of Allegiance at the Ceremony. Remarks will be delivered by Mayor Linda J. Colbert, USCIS staff, and a special keynote address from Ron Levy who is the son of Jewish German refugees, served the federal government for more than 40 years as an attorney, and has been a Fairfax County resident of more than 57 years. Scout troops from Vienna will present the colors and lead the pledge of allegiance, and a member of the Vienna Youth Players Guys and Dolls cast will sing the national anthem.
